A close relationship with wine producers has always been at the heart of the Wine Program of The Sommelier Group – even in the cellar that houses legendary vintages and exclusive collections from around the world. To celebrate this, our Wine Dinners are an elegant showcase of Portugal’s most prestigious wines, inviting guests on a gastronomic exploration in the heart of Lisbon or the Algarve.
Each exclusive wine dinner is held in a private room or in the restaurant, creating an inspiring setting. Guests are personally welcomed by the Wine Director of the The Sommelier Group, who will introduce the winemaker or a sommelier who will lead the guided tasting. Meanwhile, a personalized menu will be created by Beatriz Soares or João Levy and their team to perfectly combine with the wines presented.
From the appetizer to the fine cheese course, each course has been carefully balanced—and each glass has been chosen to complement the food. During dinner, you’ll hear the story behind each bottle: its origins, tasting notes, and techniques.
